Double Take

I recently had someone interested in a drawing that had already sold. I don't repeat drawings for situations like that but I do like to do new versions with slight changes. I posed the same model in a similar pose but changed the angle and how the head and hands were placed. I like the results...conte and pastel...about 20 minutes. Compare to the drawing of Chelsea posted March 3, 2009. (Monday Night Life Drawing).

Perhaps I shouldn't comment without viewing the other painting, but lacking for serious time this a.m. I love this piece unto itself, very emotional. Will try to pop back in and check the March one. Best wishes.

Nice!
I just went to a figure drawing class for the first time in 15 years this past Saturday. (Inspired by seeing your drawings.)
