Work in progress of young dance model Madison. She's holding an empty bird nest and looking up(at the baby bird that has just flown away). There is still a possibility that I may show the bird(s) as was my first intention but I like the idea that they've already gone?? 24 X30

Nice. I think I agree with your decision to not show the bird-it's somewhere far outside the canvas.
Drawing or painting a head at this angle is notoriously difficult-you must know what you're doing. ha
Thanks Steve..I think so too...no birds visible. The head is just before the "tipping point" I think. A little more tilt and it would be super difficult and look very odd. I still have a little work on the nose and mouth.
