Child's Hand

I was recently asked to give someone a price on a drawing of their child's hands. This was a first but I really like the idea of it. It's a step above the plaster cast they bring home from kindergarten and can be a beautiful study. Hands are very unique to the individual even down to the shape of the fingernails. I've not received the commission yet but here is a study I did several years ago from a painting by Bouguereau..."Child at Bath". Oil on canvas...8X10.

This must of been very difficult to do. Hands are great to draw. Thanks for dropping by on my blog. I like your website too.

Hi Martin,
Nice to hear from a fellow Ringling alum. Awesome work! (no suprise). Your work at school was always admired by the rest of us. Glad to see your career is flourishing. I'll be sure to check in time to time and see whats new.

I've got to hand it to you-I've never heard of this type of commission before.
