Model Maggie, posed in an Arabian dance costume Monday night. This pose had great lines from both sides. 15 minutes conte and pastel. This one could become a painting one day. The light, which really does not come across in the sketch, was really outstanding. I have a reference photo that captured it good enough to work from.

Nice! Where do you get all of the costumes that keep turning up in your life drawings?
All of the costumes on dancers are their own...they often have quite a collection from over the years. Once in a blue moon, I'll rent one from our local costume shop but generally, even the non-dance models(pirate, toga ect) create their own.
