Surely you Gest(ure)
Sometimes my favorite drawing from the Monday night life class is one of my gestures. On an average night, we do 1/2 hour of 2 minute gestures and then 3-4 longer poses...15-20 minutes each. This was one of the gestures. I did it on nicer paper than I usually use. Medium was graphite. 2 minutes. Model- Erin.

Newnan Mural
Large mural that I painted a few years back. approx 5' x 14'. Painted on canvas and mounted to the wall in a downtown Newnan office. The building is now for sale and I'm told the owner plans to remove the mural and possibly donate it to the local historical society(I don't know if that is actually going to happen or not as I'm hearing this 3rd person.) The painting was made to be removed however so it should not be too big of a problem...transporting it is another story. The scene shows Newnan, looking from the west around 1929. A bi-plane that delivered mail flies by the depot with the downtown in the background. Buildings that no longer exist are shown.

Merry Christmas
Found this tin for sale online recently. I painted the toys and tree for Andes Candies for their 2000 Christmas tin. Two sides shown. I wanted a Haddon Sundblom feel. Every once in a while an old illustration assignment pops up on Ebay...always fun to see.
