Model Melinda S in a tree costume from a dance performance she was in...we pretended it was a Christmas tree. This was approx 15 minutes...conte and pastel.

Firefly

The model tonight, Melinda S, was in a dance costume that was used as a firefly in the ballet Hansel and Gretel. I thought it looked kind of like a jester..very cool, very colorful. I've simplified it for the time restrictions of the class. This drawing was about 12-15 minutes. Conte and pastel.

Say Yes to the Tutu

New dance model, Melinda S, did a great job for us last night. A couple of 12-13 minute sketches shown here. Conte and pastel. Motown music from "The Big Chill" kept us entertained as we drew. Good turnout.
